If this is your first time using a moon cup, you should familiarise yourself with the FUN CUP on your own time.

- Get into a comfortable, wide-branch position
- Sit on the toilet or stand up straight, one leg raised.
- Fold the cup-
Keeping the cup folded, place the FUN CUP cup in your vagina

A small amount of lubricant may help.
- Push the cup in as far as you can, then let go. The cup will open to cover your cervix

Create tightness by twisting the cup from the side or by holding onto the silicone tip and tensing your pelvic floor muscles. Make sure the cup covers your cervix by sliding your fingers around the edges, then gently pull the cup to secure the tightness. If the tightness is firm, you will feel a slight resistance

REMOVAL AND EMPTYING:

Using your pelvic floor muscles, push down on the cup, and grip it with two fingers to remove the tightness. Alternatively, you can slip a finger inside and remove the tightness by pressing the edge of the cup. Once you have removed the tightness, hold the cup and bring it out vertically. Empty the cup into the toilet, and wash with mild soap and warm water

AFTER MENSTRUATION:

Wash the menstrual cup, dry it and store it in its bag. You can also sterilize the cup by boiling it for three minutes. Clean the bag by washing it with soap and water, and letting it dry
